How will my order be packaged?
Each cut of meat is professionally vacuum-packed to protect your order. Vacuum
packing ensures that:
- Your order’s as fresh as possible upon reaching you, and will
remain so for longer than with other packaging methods.
- Your order remains clean and easy to handle with all juices safely locked
away inside.
- Each item takes up the minimum space possible and is ideal for saving space

How do I order?
We hope to have made the process of ordering with us as easy as possible, by
following these simple steps you can place an order of tender, locally reared
meat within minutes.
- Finding your desired items
You can either browse through our pages by using the product tabs at the top
of the page, or if you know what you’re looking for you can use the search
bar in the top left of the screen.
- Add the items to your basket
Chose the quantity of items you desire by using the pull down tab at the bottom
right of each item and then click ‘add’. The item(s) will then appear
in your basket to the left of the page.
If you wish to amend your basket at any point during shopping with us then click
on ‘view basket’, just below the total in the basket, and then click
‘remove’ beside each item you wish to remove.
- Checkout
Once you’ve selected all the items you wish to add to your order (to £30
or more) click on ‘checkout’ to be taken to the checkout area.
You will then be required to enter your email address and either your customer
code (if you are a returning customer) or leave the field blank (if you are
a new customer).
You will then be required to enter your postcode, and coupon number (if you
have one).
Select whether your order is to be delivered within our FREE DELIVERY AREA.

- Billing and Deliver information
You will then be required to enter your billing and delivery details. If you
require any special delivery arrangements then please use the blank box provided.
You will also have the opportunity to opt to receive updates on the progress
of your order and news of special offers from Local Produce Direct.
- Payment
We use Paypal to accept payment for your orders (Paypal is an extremely secure
method of making payment over the internet and is used by established internet
traders including eBay - Paypal accepts all major credit and debit cards). You
will be directed to either enter your email address and password, if you have
an existing paypal account, or set-up a new account.
You will then have one final opportunity to confirm the amount and make a payment
for your order.
6. Confirmation of Order
Finally, you will receive an email from us confirming your order.

For orders with FREE DELIVERY our own team of drivers in refrigerated Local Produce Direct vans deliver all orders. Orders should be signed for upon delivery, however should you require alternative delivery arrangements you will have the opportunity to specify any further details upon ordering.
